Both Gramlich and Harris also listed their ten favorite characters from movies/TV, but my brain is tired. I will meditate on choices for that list and post it tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is another day. . . .

Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzan, AKA Lord Greystoke, Saturday afternoon TV with old Johnny Wiesmuller Tarzan movies. Doesn't anyone remember this?
Hiya, Absolute Zero, great to see you posting on the blog. Yep, Weismuller was a great Tarzan, a man of honor and courage--which Sphinx Ink sees as a common thread connecting everyone's Favorite Characters, both hers and others.
Weismuller also was one Hot Dude.
I never watched those old Tarzan movies. Still haven't seen one all the way through. But I remember Tarzan from the books. One thing I notice that's interesting is how many "different" characters are on our lists.
This is an interesting list. THinking of Tarzan, I have been giving consideration of trying my hand at writing pulp. Strange how pulp sounds like a genre all its own.
My favorite fictional character is, of course, Sphinx Ink.
