Good Site for Post-Katrina Photos
As we swelter through The Month That Contains the Third Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina (better known to most of you as August 2008), I may be posting only Katrina-related entries. Or maybe not. For right now, I'm linking to Pontchartrain Pete's blog, in which he's recognizing The Anniversary Month by posting a new Katrina photo every day of the month--his theme is "One K a Day."

I don't think I'm brave enough right now to face them, particularly after having put together my post for the 29th.
It's hard to believe in some ways it's been almost three years. I was sick then, as everyone's probably heard me mention, so I watched a lot of the aftermath unfold live on CNN and Fox News.
